3. Baba Gurdit Singh, his son Balwant Singh and innocent passengers of Komagata Maru (Guru Nanak Jahaz)who were murdered, imprisoned and interned in their village for years. 4. Baba Gurmukh Singh Laton,a prominent passenger of Komagata Maru, was imprisoned for life after the massacre of passengers at Budge Budge Ghat (Calcutta). He was the first passenger of Komagata Maru who came to Canada in 1958 and told the real story of the voyage of Komagata Maru and Tragedy of Massacre of Passengers. He was the founder of Ghadar Memorial Hall, Jallandhar, India.
